Create a Spotify feature that makes listening a social experience, enabling users to share content and connect.

Music brings us together in meaningful, human interactions. But with distance between users, digital platforms struggle to deliver the same communal listening experience.

Spotify Space is a fun, visual environment where users can interact with each other in an active listening experience by sharing and reacting to music.

Inspire young people, living in cities, to engage with nature and spend more time in local green spaces.

Many young people recognise the long-term health benefits of green spaces but feel that they need a purposeful activity to justify engaging with nature.

Avia is an app for young people, living in cities, who value engaging with nature but lack the immediate motivation by providing a gamified experience of birdwatching.

MA Project • Shortlisted entry for Hubbub’s Design By Nature awards.

Design a mobile app that utilises smart meter data to reduce the negative impact of domestic energy consumption.

First-time buyers desire to be more energy efficient and have more control over their homes but often lack the practical skills and are overwhelmed by conflicting advice.

Dwell uses smart data and AI to measure a home’s energy efficiency in real time and generate a bespoke strategy for improvements including instructional DIY videos.

Transform an existing service to provide social value for a specific target user in a low touch, socially distanced context.

Necessary COVID-19 lockdowns have exacerbated an epidemic of loneliness. Visually impaired people are particularly affected with diminished support during the pandemic.

The People’s Garden is a service from the National Trust that creates sensory gardens in local communities with teams of furloughed staff and visually impaired volunteers.
